  March 2005 TeleScheduler™ Care Version 2.7.0 - New Release!
   
Technology Managers are pleased to announce the release of TeleScheduler™ Care version 2.7.0. This latest version boasts a number of impressive and unrivalled features including, but not limited, to the following:
  • TeleScheduler™ Care version 2.7.0 sees the exciting introduction of the complete eziTracker™ interface. For those using the combined TeleScheduler™ Care/ eziTracker™ service, this enhanced feature will provide enormous benefits summarised below and presented in more detail in a separate news article 'Live, seamless interface with eziTracker™'.

    • When scheduling individual or reoccurring visits with TeleScheduler™ Care, eziTracker™ alerts can be set-up from the same visit planning screen.
    • ‘Live’ visit information, including ‘visits in progress’ and ‘completed visits’ is displayed within the TeleScheduler™ Care’s visit screen. In addition, by double clicking on a planned visit, ‘actual start and finish times’ will be also displayed.
    • 'Actual' timesheet information is automatically transferred from eziTracker™ into TeleScheduler™ Care, and for added convenience, timesheets which accurately match planned visit data will be automatically approved.
    • TeleScheduler™ Care highlights planned and unplanned 'exceptions' and allows you to effortlessly manage irregularities between planned and actual timesheet information.

  • Enhancements to the AutoScheduler, providing users with the flexibility to set an increased number of AutoScheduler preferences including maximum permitted travel distance, number of times a Care Worker has previously attended a Service User, Care Worker grading, gender, availability, language, etc. Each of these preferences can be rated, in terms of importance, to suit your individual company requirements!

  • Following on from the success of the Care Worker task-based wizard, this release sees the introduction of a Service User task-based wizard, which allows Care Managers to deal with ad-hoc tasks such as holiday and respite details, service suspensions, etc, with minimum fuss or effort.

  • Due to popular demand, visit times have been reduced to five minute increments, providing users with greater flexibility when scheduling visits and travel time between visits.

  • A new 'text-based visit screen' has been introduced, alongside an enhanced graphical visits screen, providing users with added flexibility in terms of how key visit information is displayed and used. Both options allow you to filter visit information be selecting/ de-selecting the tick boxes underneath the main visits window to show 'All Visits', 'Unconfirmed Visits', 'Uncovered Visits' and 'Cancelled Visits'.

  • For confidentiality and security reasons, we have introduced tailorable security/ access privileges. This means that key sections within TeleScheduler™ Care can be blocked off to pre-defined user groups, or, alternatively, users may be provided with 'read only' access privileges.
